The Dark Knight Rises
Twice. Without spoilers, you can pretty much guess from the previews the arc(s) of the film. In the hands of lesser directors, this broad, ambitious, intricate, movie would be a terrible mess. Even with all the (expected) plotholes, it ultimately works, and I walked away satisfied. However, it would have been better served if it had gone Deathly Hallows-style: a finale in two parts.
